About Me
Hi, I'm Christoph Nadig, HB9ZHK—licensed amateur radio operator since 1995 and the developer behind iFTx. My main interests lie in soundcard-based modes such as FT4, FT8, PSK, RTTY, WSPR, SSTV, WEFAX, CW, and even the odd Hell-Schreiber transmission.
I’ve always been fascinated by the intersection of radio and technology. After studying computer science at ETH Zurich, I started building tools to make digital modes more accessible and enjoyable for fellow hams. iFTx grew out of that passion—designed from the ground up to work smoothly with macOS, it brings a modern touch to classic and emerging digital modes.
Though I spend a lot of time writing code, I haven’t lost my love for hardware. One of my side projects is the DigiLink Nano, a compact and practical interface for digital modes—perfect for SOTA, POTA, or any portable setup where space, weight and reliability matter.
Whether you’re chasing DX, decoding weather faxes, or experimenting with slow-scan TV, I’m always happy to connect with others who share the same curiosity and love for amateur radio.
